Cnr Nano supports the International Day of Women and Girls in Science marking the essential role that women and girls play in science and technology.

Today, is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science – implemented by UNESCO and UN-Women – in collaboration institutions and civil society partners that aim to promote women and girls in science. This Day is an opportunity to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls. Cnr Nano join the International Day of Women and Girls in Science to celebrate all the women and girls who are leading innovation.

Cnr Nano has always been attentive to support of female researchers and their professional life, and pays great attention to gender equality both in the recruitment of personnel and in the training of young researchers. February 11 is an opportunity to give value and visibility to our women in science.

In our laboratories in Pisa and Modena work many women who with competence and passion have chosen science and research as a professional and life path. The institute is proud to share its scientific achievements with the talented women physicists, engineers, chemists, computer scientists, researchers who are an invaluable part of its team.
