Jacopo Fregoni awarded by the Italian Chemical Society  

Modena - 16.10.2020 - Jacopo Fregoni awarded by the Italian Chemical Society
The Division of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society awarded the prize for the best research work to Jacopo Fregoni for his article "Strong Coupling with Light Enhances the Photoisomerization Quantum Yield of Azobenzene", CHEM vol. 6, pp. 250-265 (2020). The research is focussed on the photochemistry in nanocavities affected by intense plasmonic fields and it has been developed in collaboration with Stefano Corni (University of Padua), Giovanni Granucci and Maurizio Persico (Università of Pisa).
Jacopo is completing his PhD at UniMoRe and CnrNano and he has been awarded the best under-35 scientific work for the three year period January 2017 - June 2020 for the contribution to innovative systems.
