Magnetic topology and frustration applied to spintronics devices

Recent developments in nanofabrication and novel material growing setups have allowed investigation of topology and frustration in magnetic materials, as a tool for improvement in state of art electronics devices and proposition of new architectures, as well. That is just possible by association of such interesting magnetic properties with current improvements in advanced material investigation.

In this talk, I am going to present the basis of magnetic topology and frustration, discussing how it can contribute to improvements in current information technology devices, such as logic systems and magnetic memories, and propose its application in brand new fields, such as neuromorphics and quantum computing technology.
