Lili Shi

Short Bio

Dr. Shi acquired his doctoral diploma in electronics science and technology at Nanjing University in 2023. From 2024, he starts to work as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Enterprise of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and at the Nanoscience Institute of the National Research Council (CNR). Dr. Shi concentrates on the research areas including terahertz sensing, superconducting electronics and superconducting quantum computing. During his PhD period, he has developed new fabrication techniques to fabricate quantum capacitance detectors (QCDs), and established the first system to characterize the terahertz single photon detectors in China. Beside, he also developed a simple method of fabricating terahertz bandpass filters. He is also interested in fabrication process of superconducting quantum computing chips based on ultra-low loss tantalum films. He is also the co-author of 8 papers on international journals, and 3 Chinese patents.
