- 2018 – present: permanent research scientist (Ricercatore di III livello) at Istituto Nanoscienze-CNR, Pisa (Italy).

- October 2018: visiting scientist at Max Planck Institute for the Solid State Research, Stuttgart (Germany) in the group of Dr. J. Smet.

- 2017 – 2018: Fix-term research scientist at Istituto Nanoscienze-CNR, Pisa (Italy) in the group of Prof. A. Tredicucci.

- 2013 – 2017: Post-doctoral fellow at Istituto Nanoscienze-CNR, Pisa (Italy) in the group of Prof. A. Tredicucci.

- 2011 September - December: visiting PhD student at McMaster University, (Hamilton, Canada), in the group of Prof. H. Haugen and Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) (Montreal, Canada) in the group of Prof. R. Morandotti.
