Ambra Del Grosso

Short Bio

Born in Italy in 1989, she received her master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Biology Department of the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2014, and PhD in Biophysical Sciences from the Scuola Normale Superiore (Italy) in 2020. Currently, she is a post doc researcher of the Nanoscience Institute (Pisa, Italy) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR).

Research Interests

Her main research interests are: the development of a novel Enzyme Replacement Therapy (ERT) for the treatment of Krabbe disease (KD) based on nanomaterials, and the study of molecular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of KD, with focus on autophagy dysfunction.
