Time-dependent modelling of single- and two-electron states in quantum Hall edge channels for quantum computing architectures based on hot-electron interferometry.

Dynamics of indirect excitons in semiconductor nanostructures.

Self-consistent simulation of carrier states in semiconductor nanowires: photoluminescence spectra, magnetotransport characteristics, spin-orbit interaction.

1998 : Laurea cum laude at University of Modena, Italy.
2001 : PhD in Physics at Physics department of University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
2001-2002 : Post-doc at Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettronica, Informatica e Sistemistica of Bologna University, Italy.
2003 : six months visiting scientist at IBM Watson Research Center, Yorktown, NY, USA.
2003-2008 : Post-doc at S3 Research Center of Istituto Nazionale per la Fisica della Materia - CNR, Modena, Italy.
since 2008 : Research scientist at Istituto Nanoscienze - CNR, Modena, Italy.
